Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The purpose of the amendments is to strengthen due diligence procedures prior to the award of an honorary award, as well as to provide for procedurally fair processes for the revocation of awards. The amendments are reflected in:
The deletion of old Clause 8;
New Clause 10 to provide for Governance's powers to seek additional information on a nominee;
The amendment of Clause 23 to provide for referee checks, etc.;
New Clause 35 to provide for Governance's power to seek additional information on a nominee;
New Clause 48, similar to the above;
The amendment of Clauses 53 and 54 to strengthen natural justice and administrative fairness principles relating to the revocation of honorary awards; and
A new Clause 57 to ensure finality to revocation processes.
