Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Contract Management Policy and Procedure has undergone changes to ensure the management of contracts across all areas of the University are carried out prudently and efficiently. The main changes are:
- The CDU Legal team must review all contracts unless they are subject to an exemption which is clearly stated in the policy.
- The conditions which must be satisfied to qualify an exemption from review by Legal on Property and Facilities contracts have been clarified.
- References added to ensure consistency with other Governance documents.
- Changes to wording across the document to improve clarity and readability.
- The requirement for organisational units to seek specialist advice has been broadened.
