Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The policy was updated to reflect current practice for Professional Development at the University.
- Removed listing of mandatory induction and replaced with a link to the Waterhole to ensure currency of information.
- Added to list of types of professional development opportunities which may be available (such as mentoring, study allowances etc).
- Added clause that non-attendance may lead to costs being incurred by the employees organisational unit.
- Added clause that tailored professional development many be offered to specific groups to aid workforce strategy.
- Minor wording amendments throughout.
