Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Revisions were made to the procedure as in line with the requirements set out in the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence, as follows:
- The word 'intimate' added to the description of private relationships in clause 8 to align with the National Code.
- New clause (19) added to describe the requirements for intimate personal relationships to be declared under the National Code.
- Clause 25 amended to include all staff involved in conflict of interest declarations being required to adhere to the Privacy and Confidentiality policy.
- New clause 26 describing the anti-discrimination protections for employees making declarations who are of diverse sexual orientation and gender identity.
