Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The policy previously had focused heavily on misconduct provisions and penalties which may be incurred by students in University managed accommodation. As the University now relies on the EBA, Codes of Conduct and other University policies, local guidelines and terms and conditions, plus law enforcement agencies such as the Police and the NT Small Claims Tribunal to manage misconduct, these sections of policy were removed.
The scope of the document as broadened to include all individuals who use University accommodation.
The relevant parts of the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender Based Violence pertaining to student accommodation were referenced.
