Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Fleet Vehicle Usage Policy and Procedure has been extensively revised. Foremost, the current governance document is a policy document only, so the revised version includes a comprehensive procedure for fleet vehicle usage. The other primary changes to the document are:
• Inclusion of a new section on vessels.
• More detailed information on towing vehicles.
• Inclusion of a requirement for drivers to be appropriately trained for certain vehicle class usage.
• Inclusion of externally hired vehicles in the scope of the policy.
• Further clarity around the approval process and where the various responsibilities lie.
